Officially known as ‘St Matthias Anglican Parish, Mernda’, we are part of the Anglican Church of Australia. In response to the tremendous growth in the Plenty Valley, Plentylife was planted in 2011.
We value learning how to live as Jesus did, and so that means we have a high focus on following Him in our daily lives.
As we see in Jesus’s life, rest is important for living life well. So each year, we take the month of January to recharge and don’t have any formal services during this time. This allows us to give our leaders and Sunday service teams a great rest for the year ahead. There’s always plenty happening and lots of people around, but gatherings are informal and relaxed.
